After getting satisfied details about the bride or bidegroom, fix a date for engagement ceremony and for marriage also. The date should be convenient to both the parents as well as the boy and girl.
The gap between the engaement date and the date of marriage should be not be more than 2 months. It will be helpful to avoid some unexpected problems.
